A whole day of dancing, fun, and community
Every year, we host a fun and inspiring workshop for beginners, where dancers from Denmark and abroad come together for a day filled with music, workshops, and plenty of joy in dancing.
While the workshop is aimed at beginner-level dancers with up to two years of experience, everyone is, of course, welcome to join.
What is there to see and do?
During the day, you can:
- Learn new dances and improve your skills
- Participate in workshops led by skilled instructors
- Dance to a varied playlist all day long
- Meet other line dancers from all over the country
- Enjoy a relaxed and cozy atmosphere
All dances are reviewed at least once, so everyone can keep up and have a great time on the dance floor.
An event focused on community
The beginners’ workshop isn’t just about dance—it’s also about community. Throughout the day, there will be time for relaxing breaks, a free cake buffet, communal meals, and plenty of conversation with both old and new dance friends. The program features workshops in the afternoon and group dancing right up until the end of the day.
Skilled instructors
Every year, we invite experienced guest instructors to join our own instructors, who ensure inspiring lessons, a great atmosphere, and a fantastic dance experience. The music is provided by an experienced DJ who sets just the right mood throughout the day.
Practical Information
The workshop will be held at Humlehøj Hallen in Sønderborg, which can accommodate up to 250 participants. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and registration will be handled by each club at mail.
Ticket sales begin on November 1 at 10:00 a.m.
There will also be vendor booths on the day of the event, and you can order sandwiches in advance. You are not allowed to bring your own beverages.
